What a feeling!!

Hello my friends,

I am so excited I can hardly contain the feelings...So, I want to share it all with you...

Not sure if I should mention this but soon it will be one month sober...I have not had one month sober in three years due to pill popping and recently drinking...It has been difficult at times, but I want you to know that I have resisted cravings...
Because I have done this my life is starting to become productive and today I have a sense of self worth.

Due to my disease, I nearly lost everything and made some really poor choices...

Today, because I remained sober, I now have my car back and on the road...I have also become responsible in other areas of my life...

Because I didn't have transportation, meetings were not as available as I wanted, plus I have moved fifty miles away, don't know many folks. Now, I will have the freedom to go to any meeting...

I want ot thank all of you...Coming here has really helped me stay on the right path..SR has literally become my lifesaver and I am so grateful to all of you...

I am so happy for you! Continue with what your doing and watch this month turn to another and another! Be proud of yourself for what your doing!

Hey my friend, it's great to hear that you got wheels and can now get to some f2f meetings to further enhance your recovery.
