woo hoo, beautiful cherry crib arrived today....after about two hours of trying to get the supports straight, i um, bent the brackets somehow....FIVE hours later, and the crib is finished, except one side of the drop down rail has no screw, too crooked.
i am such a DIYer.
however, we have tested it, it's safe, the rail doesn't move, the bottom is sturdy....we put a bunch of his toys in there, and let me tell you...he got in, and was soooooooooooooo excited. laughing and playing with everything....i can't wait til bedtime, i am sooooooooo hoping he'll sleep in it, lol

Jacks,
I remember the first time I dropped CJ off at school in I think 2nd grade asked for a hug and kiss and he stood there looking at me. I asked again and he said under his breathe. mom!!!
I was like, okay. I love you. But inside I was crying. It is hard, yes. But we must let them go little by little.
But at 3!!!!! he is stubborn isn't he.

petie stubborn isn't the word for conner---more like an all out bull headed man-----kind of like his daddy----that really did hurt me--i had a big realization in the middle of the grocery store i wasn't prepared for!!!!! i am a very lovey mom---i always hug and kiss my kids and tell them i love them---so it was very hard on me!!
I understand Jackie...my kids are good about it,,,except the 18 year old, he is all...yuk momma....but he is MR....but the 22 year old and the 12 year old are fine with kissin momma in public....they know I will embarrass the hect out of them if they refuse
I am so affectionate they are used to it....<<<<me all the time
