I'm glad you're building a solid foundation with your sponsor - and I know he's really helping you - but regardless of his shifts or how often you talk, he cannot keep you sober. Connect with lots of other alkies with good sobriety and make sure you have a good support system in place when he isn't available - keep getting to those meetings, and take it a day at a time. You can do this. You really can!

Excellent!

I'm glad to hear your doing lots of meetings. When I was fresh out of De-tox, I figured all I needed was to get through the withdraw and I'd be OK. If course, they recommended AA and ,being the good drunk that I am, I ignored their advice. What do "they" know anyway ?

Needless to say, I made it about 6 weeks. Within 2 months I was as bad as ever.
