My gift to myself and others
I feel blessed with sobriety and being able to experience life sober. I can appreciate the moments in life that are special and full of meaning. My life has meaning today.
I am practicing acceptance for all the things that I'm going through. Some things are happening that are uncomfortable but I am learning that as long as I continue forward and do the next right thing, then ultimately all of my experiences can become something to learn from and can help someone else one day.
The gift of sobriety that I am giving myself today will one day come back as a gift to others through the experience, strength, and hope of where I've been and how I overcame it.
Happy Easter my friends!

Hi Hope4Life, I so needed to read this
post this morning. Because of my disfunctional family,
holidays are the hardest for me. Even though most of my family is
far away, and not just miles, I always feel sad about what family really should be. I have real family love with my S/O and her family, but not my brothers.
I am greatful for all the love I have and all the love I am able to give to those
to others on this Easter Sunday..
Happy Easter Hope4Life and all my extended family here at SR.
