I'll settle for "pretty" or "decent". lol

I'm working on my positive self image.

misti, it's hard to always put up the positive attitude when it just isn't there. Don't worry too much. We all get down, we all snap, and we all rush to judge sometimes. Hopefully we all can understand, forgive, and move forward.

thanks for the reading scoot.

{c'est}, you are pretty wonderful and more than decently gorgeous, my dear!

h4! i've been meaning to ask, is that you in your avatar? how old are your kids?

thanks for the info--i think we'll need to do lax and taxi it down to disneyland. do you have any thoughts on hotels? what are the key differences between the ones on property? one looks more resort-like and one has a better pool, from what i can tell...

yikes! it's NOON! gotta go "start" my day, officially off and running...

yeh those are my bratkins blake is 9 and Mykayla is 7. We were in Maui back in the good days when i had a family. anyway as far as hotels go the ones on the property are pretty expensive and one is more resort like it reall depends how much time you are planning on staying at the hotel if u just want to hang out and relax a resort is good but if youplan on spending most of your tim at disny and California adventure there is many hotels around off the property that offerfree shuttles to and from disney and have restraunts in walking distance

Ig, so let me know when I should fly in to escort you to the concert. Hehe.
4.5 pounds - AWESOME!!!!

Okay, Disneyland. From what I have been told by others, don't stay on site. All they do is rip you off with overpriced food, etc. I have been told by a few, stay in an off site hotel and shuttle in. Go to cheapair.com or hotwire.com and you should find some screamin deals on hotels and airfare!!!

I found air fare for my son and I for 255 roundtrip each but if you keep lookin, sometimes you can get them under 200.

Good Luck.

hi candy! glad you are safe! i want to hear all about cuba.

bit o'trivia--the quote i posted earlier was by Jeanette (Jennie) Jerome Churchill

Known also as Lady Randolph Churchill was an American society beauty, best known to history as the mother of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. According to legend, she was also responsible for the invention of the "Manhattan" cocktail. She commissioned a bartender for a special drink to celebrate the election of Samuel J. Tilden to the governorship in 1874. The party was held at the Manhattan Club, and the drink was named after the club.

btw--i used to love manhattans. not much of a martini drinker but dh is--i did manhattan when he took martinis.

Hi everyone-

Scoot- I grew up right there by Disneyland. The cool thing about the on property hotels is the monorail. It goes between the park and hotel. It's really easy to hop on if you want to go back for some quiet time (NAP time) and then get right back into the park. I know you can find better deals, it just depends on what you are looking for. I like convenience..... especially with little ones. LAX vs SNA... I like SNA because it's closer and smaller. Sometimes it's only a $20 difference- if that's the case SNA- but if it's more go LAX. Depending on when you arrive it should take 30-60 extra min. (depends on traffic) When are you going?

Petie- you sound like an awesome woman!! I'm glad you are here!

Candy- glad you are home- can't wait to hear about Cuba!!! I missed you.

Hi to everyone else... I love all of you beautiful gorgeous women!

Ig- 4.5 pounds!! Good for you!

I hope everyone's moods ber peaceful tonight.

I'll check in later... xoxo T

Hi everyone, first day of spring break, slept a lot for some reason.

I tried again to make make an appointment with a physiologist or psychiatrist, I don't want any meds so I don't really care. I F*** sucks all I get is recordings telling me to leave a message, then no one ever calls back.

The one place that did answer, Atlanticare it's a pretty big place, told me they were not taking new patients and gave me numbers to call of the places I already called. The last time I tried I thought I wasn't making enough of an effort. I was crying on the phone to this woman explaining how I can't seem to get an appointment.

She was like oh well, I told her I guess I would just check myself in to the phyc ward and then maybe I could get an appointment. I should go back to school for phycology...

That's frustrating NYC- It's like... "are you there to help people or not?!!?" That's good you got sleep- obviously you really needed it- you probably still need even more!
