I've been doing well also. However, I do not suck crawly fish heads.

I am a social worker, I have been on medical leave for almost a year now.
It looks like I will be retired with permanent disability soon, I am not
mandated and would like to give you some helpful advice:
You are doing great, and congrats on 40+ days.
Remember throughout this whole court process: the primary goal first
and foremost, of Children and Families is to reunite the child permanently
with the parent(s) once stabilzed and safety is proven. The stress you feel
is what the whole process feels on both sides as preparations are made
for the return. The best thing you can do is to follow the social worker's
case plan. Make sure all points have been completed. Keep all
pending appointments, stay calm and confident, and consult your
attorney immediately if anything seems "fishy" or your questions are
not answered directly and promptly.
My best to you, Bee. Everything should go well.
Oh, yes. A good social worker will do their utmost to help you.
Ask them. It is why they are getting paid, but it should not be why
they chose the profession.
Love All and keep on the Happy Road, especially when it
seems too hard to follow.

good to hear from you! I haven't been typing much on here lately, there's always so many things that I want to do in a day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE springtime, it smells so nice and looks so pretty out
I have a pretty fun meting tonight at 8. It's a gambling meeting hehe! Not real gambling. We each buy in at .50cents for oodles of chip, and the person with the most chips at the end wins a prize. The rest of the buy-in money goes into the AA bank I guess? didnt ask that part. The guy that one last year, won a giant summer sausage, and shared it with everyone. I hope I win!! YAY!

I left a note on "mice and men" letting all know what's going on with me. Glad to see you stone, bee, tj, and all the rest of the usual suspects. funny, i'm here in the south and it was warm a few days ago. woke up to snow this morning. guess it's a good time for me to watch golf this afternoon.
i pray this note finds you all well, happy, and sober. going home tomorrow. got some things worked out in my head. dangerous place to be....my head. but have a friend here that's been helping me sort things out. just like you guys do when i'm f**ked up.
just have to get home and put the suggestions into practice. toughest thing, putting advice into practice, especially when its my own advice!!!!!!

It;s 1:20am here, just got back from my meeting hehe!!!! It was a blast. I'll have pictures of it this wens, cant wait to see them. I dont think I can share them on here though
.... I won a sobriety clock where I can change the coin when the time comes. (Well Monday actually be 60 days, yay!!) Then I won this vibrating back massage thingy 
, a pregnancy test and a rubber of all things.

What happened to Spring?
It was down to freezing here!! Ed said he woke up to snow...yowee
Well, I just wanted to wish every one a Happy Easter..going to hit a noon meet, eat Sunday dinner with my cousins and then go to see a movie-The Namesake...may even hit an evening meet too, can't have enough reinforcement even if its DAY 46!!!!!
Miss my boy but got to spend the day yesterday with him, we put together this Pirate ship with pirates throwing harpoons into this poor shark...he loved it though and the best part is when he lays his head down on my shoulder and says I love you Mom....I know there are more days to come soon but can't help feeling impatient.
For now I merely meditate on the good stuff.

Ah,Bee, a cold lonely day missing your boy on Easter is hard. I went through
that with shared custody, had to tear him from my arms at times.
Do not give up. You are to close to wining this thing. Your recovery has just
begun and life with that boy is beginning in a new way. He needs you.

Hia tj, well 60 days! it seems an age since I first posted on this thread, saying that it didn't matter how any of us got sober just so long as we got sober in the end. Well tj your on the recovery road good and propper now and step one completed as well, you realy rock tj and im proud of you.

60 days!!!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! truly a miracle. you've worked very hard tj and it just goes to show what God gives us when we are faithful to His purpose.
Not much else to report. Just feeling much better about my marriage and what I need to do to make it better. it's always nice to get objective input from someone who has no stake in the game.
On to work now...i guess it's about time. I've been slackin' of for a month now so I think I better give the company something back.
