Wow... Today started off BAD at work... had some pretty big fires to fight... not my doing but you know somebody has to clean up the mess... well I did that... skipped lunch because I had to work through it... 2:30 and the fire is out... went out to grab some food and realized it was Friday... (doing the no meat thing) so I decided M&M's and diet pepsi it is...

went back to work... and started crankin' and what do you know it's almost 5:00

I use to eat M&M's and drink diet pepsi all the time... like a Gallon of the stuff a day... back the last time I remember being happy and working like a mad man with ambition...

Now I don't think I am going to credit the Diet Pepsi and M&M's but boy I had a good day... BTW I think pop is realy BAD but I was treating myself...

I figure I would pop in and say... I'm having a great day and BABY I'm sober and happy about it...

-- a bit nervous that I am feeling this good... worried I will cycle equaly as far down... --

but hey I'm going to shut my computer down... head home and enjoy dinner with my family, watch Friday Night Fights and since I won't be drunk I will probably be awake to see the main event! sweet!

It does get better... and Day 49 of sobriety was a good one!

D, enjoy your pink cloud while you have it and don't worry about what may come afterwards. I was told that when my emotions were swinging high and low I passed "normal" twice in there (one on the way up and the other on the way down) so hold onto that!

Thanks for the post debaucher, I'm so glad you had a great day!! I hope today holds more of the same, even some diet pepsi and M&Ms. (although I prefer Smarties - the Canadian ones)
