h4--hi! i'm kinda religious too and i go to aa. although i believe in God, my newly emerging spirituality is very different from my religion.
i'm finding is that "higher power" means different things to different people.

i'm back for a pop-in and now i'm gonna go hang with my kids. we've been banging out a lot on this thread--new one today and we're on post 80 already. woo-hoo!

I have nothing against AA just very busy already wich is good and h does not want me to go so I am going to try the alternatives first.

I'm home alone tonight too. Kids took off with Dad an hour ago. I already ran 6 miles today, but this is my first weekend alone since I quit. Normally I would go buy a bottle, make some dinner and veg out till I finished a bottle or two.

It is 7 and I am almost tempted to go back to the gym just to keep busy. House is already clean. Laundry almost done.

Maybe I'll go see a movie.

beezy i had a new client today that looks just like your avatar pic!!! and she acted just like how i would imagine you--same color of hair style and length--(before the change to red) i just wanted to keep calling her beezy isn't it funny how you have never met someone--but just seeing photos and posting with someone you almost feel as if you already know them kind of strange(scratching head)

Lori.. Hang in there it hard at first and then it gets easier... oh some days are still hard read back through my posts In June and July I tell alot about my drinking habits... some where hard to break now most of the time I really don't care...

Ask this ... do I want the drink or is it just the romance of the drink... yeah sure the body crave the alcohol, but the mind is stronger then the body... keep a non-A drink with you at all times it helps...

I'm actually happy to be home on a Friday night. Back in the ole days, there is no way I'd be home. Hmmm, I might be a bit proud of me. Took a really hot bubble bath and it's almost What Not To Wear Time...life is good.
