"Real Alcoholic"
you know what feels nice, sis ...
I have to look BACK to see it.
We're not there any more. You know - the last sevenmonths sober has been better - sorrow and all - than the last ten YEARS drinking and using.
wow.
a year ago today - I would NEVER have thought ... I'd be here today. I was just starting the final plummet a year ago. whoa.

Thanks so much Debaucher. I am also going to keep this list to be reminded as well and add some of my own. Normal people don't have 13 hour lunches in bars. Normal people can have a drink at lunchtime and go back to work.
These thoughts have been with me for a few days now. I never drank in the morning. I did not lose my family or my job. I thought that maybe I wasn't a proper alcoholic and that I had gone and jumped to conclusions again. See I rush into things.
So I did a survey on the net to see if it was true. It turned out that I was. So I did another survey thinking it would be a different outcome. After five surveys, the last one that I took, I decided to lower the real amount I had been drinking (thinking that maybe I could stick to that from now on). That survey told me that 99% of the population drink less than me. Sigh.
Normal people don't do 5 surveys thinking and hoping that there will be a different outcome each time!
