WHO RENEWS HIS CREATION EVERY DAY WITHOUT FAIL
The miracle is that the mundane survives
That the world wakes up and goes to sleep again
That gravity works although we don't know how
And the world and all within it turns
Without God's active will.
The miracle is that it just happens.
The miracle is that we press on
Through our senseless losses
And pointless wins
And in our little lives
Still learn to love ourselves
And others
And our God
And do some good.
The miracle is that it just happens.
The miracle is that with open eyes
And a little trust
And the strength to smile
Each familiar face looks new each day
Each well known place feels fresh
Each day seems new
Each prayer alive
The miracle is that we survive
The miracle is that in the mundane we thrive
The miracle is that it just happens.

Miracles
Each time that I switch on the light
A Miracle it seems to me
That I should rediscover sight
And banish dark so utterly.
One moment I am bleakly blind,
The next--exultant life I find.
Below the sable of the sky
My eyelids double darkness make.
Sleep is divine, yet oh how I
Am glad with wonder to awake!
To welcome, glimmery and wan
The mighty Miracle of Dawn.
For I've mad moments when I seem,
With all the marvel of a child,
To dwell within a world of dream,
To sober fact unreconciled.
Each simple act has struck me thus--
Incredibly miraculous.
When everything I see and do
So magical can seem to me,
How vain it is to seek the True,
The riddle of Reality . . .
So let me with joy lyrical
Proclaim all Life a Miracle!

Friendship is never established as an understood relation.... It is a miracle which requires constant proofs. It is an exercise of the purest imagination and the rarest faith.

this one's for you kev....
We have dreamt of every woman there is, and dreamt too of the miracle that would bring us the pleasure of being a woman, for women have all the qualities—courage, passion, the capacity to love, cunning—whereas all our imagination can do is naively pile up the illusion of courage.
[Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929),

We must be ever thankful for small miracles, and ever hopeful for receiving greater ones.

Each of my days are miracles. I won't waste my day; I won't throw away miracle.

Unknown Author
The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common. If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jim Rohn
I have found in life that if you want a miracle you first need to do whatever it is you can do - if that's to plant, then plant; if it is to read, then read; if it is to change, then change; if it is to study, then study; if it is to work, then work; whatever you have to do. And then you will be well on your way of doing the labor that works miracles.

George Bernard Shaw
Miracles, in the sense of phenomena we cannot explain, surround us on every hand: life itself is the miracle of miracles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Robert H. Schuller
Impossible situations can become possible miracles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C.S. Lewis
Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ralph Waldo Emerson
The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Mysteries are not necessarily miracles.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chinese Proverb
The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water; but to walk on the earth.

A Mother's love is something
that no on can explain,
It is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish
and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it
or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving
when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters
even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing
when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty
of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,
it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret
like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendoured miracle
man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence
of God's tender guiding hand.

To me every hour of the day and night is an unspeakably perfect miracle.
Walt Whitman
Still seems it strange, that thou shouldst live forever? / Is it less strange, that thou shouldst live at all? / This is a miracle; and that no more.
