Hi Everyone AKA Luckyv2
Hey everyone I am still Vic 
I don't think that I want another AKA on that part of my life today although one time in my life I did change my name and thought that would be the thing that would help me to change. NOT!
I feel as if I owe an explanation as to why I have changed my user name to Chance instead of keeping it Luckyv2. The reason that I started as Luckyv2 was because when I joined here at SR I had never ran a computer and at the time I had a dog named Lucky that was my sobriety dog (or at least one of them) Anyways the Lucky was for him and the V was for me and the 2 represented that us two would always be together. However Lucky has been gone for a long time and is in doggy heaven.
I have a new friend now and his name is Chance and I have had him for quite a while now. I didn't know if changing my user name to Chance would be disrespectful to Lucky and someone (a good friend) told me that this was a way for me to know from Lucky that he feels safe now that I have found Chance. So he is at rest and he will always be a part of me but I think that this is another chapter in my book on recovery and the path in which I am going.
SOOOO I am me and I will continue to be a part of SR Thanks.....for all of you that help me each day to remember that life is precious each and everyday.

I would think Lucky is proud of his human. Seems that Lucky trained you well.
Nice piece of recovery Vic. Learning to let go doesn't mean we forget. I still remember Lucky that I had back 35 years ago. They stay in our heart and now you are sharing his love with Chance.

Hey there Vic! I think it's a good thing sometimes to make a change like you did... a symbol of the wonderful changes in your life, and I love the new name ya got there...it's a cool name!!

Vic, I have to share with you...
I check the new posts often and I saw you had requested a name change.
Then next thing I see is a poster named Chance asking for the same and I thought "Is everyone changing names today?"
Took a minute to compute...the task had been done.
I think what you did is a sweet gesture to all involved.

Chance IS a georgous hound doggie!! My 8 years old son is Chance too!!
I love dogs..we are running the Iditarod up here right now and you would just die is you could see all the sled dogs around town right now.!!!

vic... (chance)... as rz sees it... (not a new book)... lucky's passing has brought you growth, and spiriual too... at least i looked at the passing of one i loved as that... chance is your new side kick to more growth all the way around...

Thanks all he is a very lovely dog that is for sure and he is soo sooo arnrey that is no lie
He sure keeps me in line that is for sure but he likes taking up a huge amount of room in bed! Well thank God that it is only him and me!
