Well, I start moving today.
I dont have a truck a liscense or good physical conditioning.
My new housemate - a family man doesnt knw I dont drive (for another week I hope) and I dont know how to deal w the sitch if it comes up so Im looking for some advise.
I still dont really know how to deal w sharing a house w someone I dont know as I havent lived in a situation that I didnt live alone or w a woman in nearly 15 years - so Im looking for help with that too....\

The move is at least a week and a day early - I havent really packed anything
My new housemate has been kind enough to grab his fathers ole truck bed trailer and help w the big stuff today and the smaller stuff tomorrow.
Mighty nice of him since Ive only spoke to him face to face 2 mabey 3 times.
He seems cool but a tottaly different orientation on life than I.
I will have to b really straight and sober and I really hope I can do it.
The roof over my cat's and my own head depends on it.
I cant be homeless and I cant give up the cat or my tools.
I have so much food that I bought since I started working but simply havent eaten. He already has a full fridge/freezer and I cant stand to see things go off just because they dont get eaten or there is no place to put them.
Im really not sure what to move since I cant bet back and forth on a regular basis and Im not sure where I really want to be - a need a little time here and a little time @ the new place to get aclaimated (sp)...
Im still struggling and dont want to be F.I.N.E - fouled up, insecure, neurotic and emotional.....
I dont have an internet connection there as I havent swtched anything over yet.
Im not sure When I will b back here
U folks are the oly support I have right now and I am so grateful

Moving is always difficult and there are always unexpected problems. Just take it slow, do what you can and things will work out. Make a list and try to prioritize.

I wish you all the luck in the world hon, as already said, your roomy sounds like a decent guy. You did know that support is but a phone call away 24X7 don't you? It is called the AA hot line and I would be willing to bet you could have more help then you need in moving as a result of one simple phone call.

well we got about half of the big stuff and the rest is tomorrow
fortunately I have a bunch of totes and the like and a small but decent crew
couple of thrips this weekend and some small ones during the week and the rest will be done - i hope....
slow and steady takes it..

good luck....hey look at it as a new start...have fun with it...enjoy it...plan for it....go to Target and/or Wal-Mart get some new dishes and towels and stuff...or shop online....smile dood its all good....just smile and be happy...
if you want i will send you some cat food and stuff...let me know we have express mail and the cat stuff could be to u by tuesday or wed. let me know...i have no problems helping i just know that it sucks and man i dont like to see people down =( not good in my book

Im smilin a bit this afternoon cuz we made some progress and im working steady now..
I appreciate your kindness as far as sending cat food Ive got lots !
Thats one of the probs is i have so much "stuff" since I do so many things to pay the bills and hobby wise when Im not drinking....
Im going to get in touch w the salvation army and have them come get so much stuff that people can really use in daily life
we had stuff for 2 and now i need even less since my new place comes equipted too...
slow but steady...........

Ugh
i hate moving
a cold sort of emptying apartment but it has an internet connection
they are telling me 3 weeks at the new place !!
got my truck back from a month of vaction @ the body shop and the like and its not inspectable
there are lights and panels falling off and the paint wasnt dry when they washed it. !!!
looks like i will b leaving all kinds of stuff around....
