24 hours
24 hours
I've been sober for OVER 24 hours now...my last drink was Wednesday at 9 pm.
A has left me for good. She told me Monday. She will still be my friend, but it will not be anything like it was. I am heartbroken. I really messed that one up.
So, of course Monday night I got drunk. Tuesday night I got drunker, and yes Wednesday night. Do I feel any better??? NO.
I'm going to check in first thing after work..cause that'll be the hardest time. Amy said she will go to a meeting with me on Monday.
I need prayers.

Way to go Karen, my heart goes out to you.
Fact, Only 50% of people in recovery initially quit for them selves (under the influence).
What ever reason you initially quit, great...
The main thing in the near, near future is just not to drink..
You can work on the rest in a few days...concentrate on not taking that
first drink, I'm behind you 100%.
It will get better Karen, it will...Just try to believe that....
Hugs, (((((((((((((hope3)))))))))))

Well, I guess we all have to hit our own personal "bottom", and loosing her is it for me. So, no I'm not completely quitting for her, cause she's already gone, but I am in way, cause she always quietly wanted this to happen for me.
Im not crazy and neither am I

I cant really offer mutch advise on sobriety or relationships (neither have been working out for me - lol)but this is just my feelings........
""ok so here is a little of what I have done this time having been hurt, lived and learned a little
think of the bad stuff - makes now seem better
think of the good stuff - remember even if there were substances there, they are still good times
Always Remember The Good Times
they wont happen again........""
- from what im told "just dont make the same mistakes...."
it came from my heart
