Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent had a
drink of alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that I am truely grateful.

TOPIC: Do you have something
that is CONTAGIOUS to share
with others in recovery or in ur
family or in life itself?

CONTAGIOUS means:
tending to spread from person to
person: contagious laughter.


Is it a SMILE, maybe a gift of
giving, ur talent....


How about sharing ur Experience,
Strength and hope uve learned in
recovery?

There's always some little something
in each of us that is worth giving away
or spreading to another....

The gift of loving, caring, joy, ETC....

I think members see "CONTAGIOUS" and automatically associate the word with sickness.

We know full well that some are sicker than others. I share healing through love and understanding.

A few things I like sharing (contrasted with their opposites);

Empathy rather than apathy.
Acceptance instead of judgment.
Smiles instead of frowns.
Openness instead of resistance.
