So yeah i'm an alcoholic....
not sure if this is the proper forum for this but yeah i'm new to this sober thing and well i can just use all the help i can get on this one b/c i sure can't do it on my own!

I have spent so many hours today looking and reading and trying to find help here, and all I can say is 'YAY!"
I am trying to head towards sobriety...I know I have to...not there yet but... fingers crossed.

There are a lot of good folks here and a lot of opinions to boot.
Tell us a bit about your selfs, what have you tried to stop drinking? Any questions you have, there are people here more then happy to share what they have done to get and stay sober, there are folks here still trying to quit and even a few who have not admitted they have a problem that warrants them to stop drinking seeking help in cutting back.

If you need some help, some support and info. you have found the right place. This site has been very valuable to me in the short time I've been hanging around. Tell us a little about your problem, maybe a short bio. so we can better help you out. It is also nice to get some things off your chest , even if it is through a keyboard. Thanx a lot everyone for all the posts i can't tell you how good it feels to know i'm not alone b/c that's all i have ever known! I fancy myself as a hardcase and here i'm sitting all tearyeyed!
