awestruck So I just had an HP moment today at a meeting I usually attend. Whle driving to the meeting I prayed for my HP to provide me a way to be of service to someone and OH MY! I was asked before it started to be the secretary for a month! I was so nervous but it was a wonderful feeling that someone thought I could do it:) Another funny thing is the meeting's topic was on fear. I;m scared but every day I learn that all I gotta do is ask for help...HP,alcoholic, sponser I pick up my 90 day chip tommorrow-AA has been a miracle for me:) |
Congrats on 90 days! Isn't it great when things work out like they should. As we say-- 'Keep comin back it works if you work it!' Thanks for the post and great job!!! |
Wonderful and Congratulations on collecting 90. Doesn't it feel great when we get instant answers to a prayer. |

Definitely a "god shot!" Way to go, jbh! :c008: |
90 days!! thats awesome!! service work is so rewarding!! you are really working a complete program...doing the step-work, working service commitments, making meetings..."rarely have we seen a person fail who has thouroughly followed our path"....you cant lose like this!! jenn you inspire me...to see somebody with 90 days just have the program click for them. this thing works!! i know dozens of kids our age who have 5,6, 7 years sober from doing exactly what your doing right now. |
hey jbh - proud of you! aa is lucky to have you! blessings, k |
Sorry scootinbabe...I've been out of town but yes I did pick up my chip(grinning like a crazy person;) Thanks for all the support ya'll! These past 3 months prepared me for a trip to visit my very sick grandmother who I haven't seen in years.(she has alzheimers and will not be around much longer) Because of this program, I was able to be there for my mom and let go of some guilt. I would have never been able to be supportive when I was drinking. I hope everyone is doing well! love Jenn |
That was definitely God's hand! Your post is very inspiring! Congrats on your 90+ days!! Keep on keepin on! |
