I have two girls. 7 3/4 & 4 1/2.

NYC, Chemistry, eh? We're about sustainability, environment and educating mid/high school teachers. It's not a traditional dept. Don't let the title fool ya.
Basiclly I run the dept. while the Director creates more work and pisses off the faculty.

FYI for those that don't already know....don't let 'Fred' fool you, I'm a mom, not a dad. Fred was a special name my dad (gone 2 years in Nov.) had for me.
I only wish for some of your dh's......I didn't choose well at all.

You're a doll, Ayla...love her

Tam...hope you held up better than I did losing your dad. He was 'George' to my 'Fred', but that wasn't his name at all.

nyc- it came from Prohibition in the late 1800's , people who chose to live the sober life were said to be "on the wagon." the wagon was really a water cart used to hose down roads,
Basically, saying that a person was "on the wagon" was shorthand for "they would sooner climb aboard a water cart to quench their thirst" than have a drop of liquor... doubt many demonstrated the vow by actually jumping up on carts, but you get the point.

ayla, most universities have online classes nowadays - you prob. just need to call your local university - i'd call the continuing education office, and the program office of the program/degree you are interested in. (doesn;t have to be local but it would prob be easier as you could meet with an advisor and cheaper if its a state school) - they will let you take classes at your own pace and outline a program for you to get whatever degree you want.

you can get an mba, anything online these days.

Ayla, it is easier all the time to take classes on-line. Check out the schools in your vicinity; ones you can get to in person if you need to meet with a professor or something and see what they offer on-line. Just google graphic arts on-line degrees and then refine the search for your area maybe. There's no doubt in my mind you could be working on a degree online in a heartbeat if that's what you want. Think of the freedom it will give you. And in all seriousness my dear, congratulations on the highest score in Ohio. That is not small potatoes, not to mention that you bothered to get your GED at all. Well done!
