Made It Through New Years!
I made it through new years!! Woo hoo!!! Between me, you, and my HP...I didn't know if I would. It was a struggle, and I know you believe me. But I did it and darn it all...I am gonna pat myself on the back with a loving hand. I fricken woke up sober this morning! Day 22!! Wah hoo! Aside from my two pregnancies in this marriage, we've never woke up sober!! (And he woke up sober with me! What love this man has!)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! MAY IT BE THE BEST ONE YET!

Hey Sister in Cali...
Hi BrandiK,
You are my twin as far as sobriety goes. I am 22 days sober as well. Plus, I am from the Bay Area in Cali too. I grew up there in Campbell, Cali, by San Jose in case you don't know Campbell.
I am proud of you for your accomplishment of making it through New Year's without having a drink. My husband and I had out first sober New Year's in our marriage. Doesn't it feel good to wake up sober! What were we thinking when we were drinking??
congrats!!!

Remember back to six days ago, when you were so "nervous" about NYE? I'm glad to see you took my advice.
Now, you won't have to be nervous about it ever again...because, you know what you'll be doing! Isn't it a great feeling!?!
Put some thought into it...and, make a favorite memory by starting a NYE tradition of your very own.
Glad you made it this far......Now for the real test of more days..............You can do it ....I know you can.......
Congrats. for the days you have this far...................
It feels real good to wake up sober...........Another New Year off to a right start....................

Happy New Year to you, Brandi!
This was my second sober NYE, and I made it through also. A new friend and I went out for sushi and then checked out a sobriety dance. We headed home before midnight and watched the ball drop in Times Square on TV. Ya know what? It's the best NYE I've ever had, and it was great to share it sober and with a friend.
