step meeting?
 

i was looking up different meetings in my area and the young persons meeting was a step meeting. what does that mean exactly?

That means they will pick a step and work on it that night. Probably start by taking turns reading the step out of the basic text, then take turns sharing about it. Step meetings are good. I would recommend them.

Many groups begin in Jan. with

Step 1
We admitted we were powerless over alcohol - that our lives had become unmanageable.

I suggest you go 15 minutes early
and or stay 15 minutes after the meeting.

That is the quickest way to meet your new
sober friends.
