day 320 and not giving up now. im fighting for my life and i just went head-up with a period in my recovery in which i was pretty much on my knee's giving over my problems over to God because i could no longer handle them. i couldnt in yesterday or earlier today.
but now ive tapped back into God and at this moment i feel great. I give God all the glory. i owe everything in my existence to God for giving me these 320 days of consecutive sobriety.
i never thought at age 26 i would be home at 10:35pm on the internet typing on a recovery message board about God. its possible that my decision to take the suggestions of AA the past 24 hours (calling people, being honest about my feelings, going to meetings, praying to God, reaching out for help, etc) are the beginning stages of a psychic change.

im not quiting today. without the bitter the sweet wouldnt be so sweet. i endured consistent pain with no reprieve while out there. i can endure pain in sobriety that isnt consistent and will pass.

I woke up with only a couple of hours of sleep. Guess my body doesn't know what to do if it can't just pass out LOL!!!!
