Panic attacks are very scary and talking to your dr is a great idea.

My withdrawl would usually start 6-8 hrs after my last drink. But I was pretty bad off, you may be different.

If you were experiencing any withdrawl/DTs you'd KNOW it. There's a thread here somewhere called "what to expect", and is about 6 pages long. Read through that.

Anxiety is usually present. A feeling of impending doom......

Thank you glass prisoner and 51anna. I woke up third day sober and I feel great. Hope it lasts. Had a little trouble getting to sleep and few skin irritations but not too bad. I will definately look at that thread. We all went to dinner as a family last night (big italian) and I had water with lemon. It was pretty easy. I just have it in my mind that I am done. Hopefully I keep this attitude. I feel too good and i have to remember how I felt every morning and while I was hiding it. I will talk to my doctor tonite and look for a meeting on Thursday to see if it is right for me. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and best wishes.

Still going strong. I talked to my doctor last night and told her everything. To be honest she didn't seem surprised. I thought I had her fooled all this time. She actually said she can see a difference in me. (calm) Going to a 7:00 meeting tonite down the street. I am a little scared. What if my neightbor is there or God forbid, my kids teacher. I am sure I will feel different after.
