Day 4

Hi, day 3 came yesterday and I didn't drink! Day 4 is in progress and I am not going to drink today either.
My heart is sad because I really should be on a hike with my partner of 17 years, but she doesn't want to be around me right now because I let her down for the, I don't know which time. I know it's going to take along time before she trust me again and I don't blame her. I find it really helpful to read and answer posts on this site and am grateful I found it. I am going to do it this time, I am, I am, I am!

Gypsytears, I hike in the adirondack moutains, people come from all over to hike the high peaks found in Lake Placid and Keene Valley NY. Mount Marcy is the highest peak here at 5,300 foot approximately. attached is a picture. thanks for the kind words. Having trouble attaching picture, i'll try later.
I'd love to see a pic when you figure out how to attach one. It must be beautiful. I don't know what I was thinking... I thought you were near the Shawangunks.
Take care of yourself so you can get back to hiking. I'm in Jersey and like to go up to the Delaware Water Gap for day hikes. I know it's probably a baby hike compared to where you are... but it always feels so nice to be up there. Clears my head.
