Day 5 and doing great!

Well I'm on day 5. Things are really looking up, no problems with detox/withdrawal anymore, just the dang insomnia. I guess part of the problem last night was from all the water I've been drinking (read another post here that water is good to flush the system) I had to make like 6 trips to the facility last night Cravings are at a minimum, anxiety at a bare minimum, just problems sleeping. Any one have any ideas for the insomnia?

Yay! Keep up the good work!

The symptoms do diminish with time. I promise. Just hang in there, k?

I'm dealing with the insomnia too so I know what you're going through.

Time. I think your body will begin to adjust to its new healthy self in it's own time. I slept better fairly quickly, but had lots of energy. I went to bed late and woke up early, but slept soundly. I also think exercise is a good suggestion.

not to diminish your sobriety, for me, the hardest part is making a complete change in my character, sober.

I can't do it alone.

I need help.

My best thinking is what got me here in the first place.

You can train your bosy in a few days by going to bed at the same time everynight and waking at the same time. Develop a nighttime ritual like reading in bed.
