Here it is....

17 yr addiction veteran, (32yrs old), 5 DUIs, drug of choice:what's available?, 2 failed engagements, booted from the military for coke use and fighting @ 25 professionally successful (with exception to the downsizing layoff 2 weeks ago) but personally bankrupt. I am completely depressed and am completely aware of it. I admit I am powerless and unmanageable. Have not had a drink since July 4th (Independece Day- yeah right) <---2 days after last DUI when I blacked out and ran underneath a Semi, but have smoked marijuana pretty regularly since. Hi everybody, lets talk

Hello Distractions74,

Welcome to the forum. A lot of us are facing situations similar to yours. In fact, I am currently unemployed and I was arrested for a 3rd DWI offense in September. I too have not drank since my arrest. I feel like I am at lowest point of my life. So, what do you want to talk about?

Distractions74,

The best thing to do is let it all out. We will read your posts, and some of us will reply with our thoughts. This forum is a great way to express yourself without the fear of judgment.
