Hello

i would usually skip the newbie stuff anywhere, but this alcohol has got me again, i tried everything in the BB controlled drinking, beer, drinking nice mixed drinks with a little umbrella, if anyone has had experienced depression in the am and just one good drink is like coffee to others, plz let me know, i have a home group, and only called them, i just wonder how the chemical breakdown is that gives me so much energy in the am then falls way down leading to another drink , oh well there's the tip of te iceberg, i hate this kind of life so much money spent on it, i'll post later about the am depression, love KJJ

Hi and Welcome,

I'm not sure what you mean but alcohol is full of sugar and it would give me a huge burst of energy for quite awhile before I crashed. I'm glad you found us and I hope you keep posting.

Welcome

There is a book that I read called "Getting them Sober" .. not sure who wrote it at the moment but it does explain in great detail how Alcohol effects the body at different stages of the disease. Was sure an eyeopener for me.

Hope you stick around so we can get to know you.
