Newbie here...need some advice
Hi everyone, im a newbie and so glad i found this great site. Im stopping my vicodin cold turkey. Does anyone know how long it takes for withdrawls to take place. I just took my last two a few hours ago. Im really worried since i have never tried to go off of them. Any advice is much appreciated. thanks so much, Kooer
P.S. Has anyone ever tried the Thomas recipie, if so how did it work??

while ive been addicted to every opiate under the sun, the habit i primarily kicked cold turkey was heroin. it lasted 2 weeks total, but the after the first 3.5 days the most severe physical aspects started to end (the puking stopped). i was also kicking pain killers and benzo's (xanex, valium) because i had been abusing those for years also...
in retrospect im glad i didnt detox medically even though i felt like i was dying MANY times throughout it all. ask God to relieve you of your difficulties even if you dont believe in Him yet. i didnt believe in him at the time, but i was actively seeking Him out and he answered my prayers.
