Habits are hard to break
Hi;
I'm been married for 19years and I've been having the same trouble since day one, and that is his drinking. I'm ashamed of him when he drinks and when he's not I'm find but then he's cranky and I'm always on an emotional yo-yo.
How can I start to improve myself and enjoy life better. He says remarks that hurt and I don't stand up for myself and i let them fester inside. I want to enjoy life not be ashamed of it. I do love him but it's hard to love someone that keeps hurting you over and over. I need someone to talk to
Thanks
