apparently...you have to be specific

my husband is in law enforcement, I have a two year old, I can not make it through the day w out a drink, I do not want to be lilke this, I am scared I will die from drinking I am the most picture perfect alcholic you will EVER meet, I am very functioning I lie everyday I hide things every day

Right there with you kristy.. I just started yesterday. I can be a quitting buddy.. we can talk about how fun the terrible 2's are. How long have you been doing this - and what has been your poison?

My life was 'normal' on the outside too.

But, on the inside, I was dying.

I was living a lie. I changed and you can change too. Keep posting and reading. There is lots of support here.

Here, here! I hear you. I thought I was fooling EVERYBODY. Nope. I was only fooling myself.

welcome! there are a bunch of us with little ones here--i have three kids ages 6 and under. my youngest just turned three. you are not alone. you can be sober. take it one day at a time and read everything you can about alcoholism. we have all lied. we have all hid. it is part of the alcoholic package. keep coming back!

My name is Joanne and I have two boys. One is almost 3 and the other is 1 year and 1/2. I am 43 days sober with the help of this board.. Keep coming back.
