Alcoholism is a DISEASE. Once you
have gained knowledge of what this
disease does to people, family members....
to loved ones...you can seek the
right help needed in order to begin
healing. It takes time...it takes
patiance, strength, courage,,,,
there are many that have learned
to live with this disease by following
different programs offered. ...AA for
the Alcoholics...a 12 Step Program...
then Al-Anon for the person living
with the Alcoholic....and A-la-teen....
for the younger people. They say
when one person in the family is sick
then everyone is affected.... You will
eventually realize that u r not the
blame for ur husbands disease. Its
not his fault for what this monster
has done to all of ur lives..... Seek
the knowledge and u will begin to
understand.

Ask questions here as many of us
have gone thru what u r going thru.

Im Sharon and Im an alcoholic.
By the Grace of my HP and people
here in Sr I havent found it necessary
to take a drink since 8-11-90. That's
16 yrs to be truely grateful.

When u feel comfortable enough,
come back and share a little bit
more about ur situation.

We 'r all here to guide u along on ur
new journey of hope.

Thanks for letting me share.
