need more advice!!!!

i have really had a rough few days dealing with withdrawls. its worse physically than the 1st few days i stopped using. today i went to my doctor and explained the situation to her and she has prescribed me 120 10 mil methadone tabs. she has instructed that i take 4 a day, and that will relieve my symptoms. i dont know much about methadone. my question is should i fill the script and use it or will that mess me up even worse? i havent filled it yet, wanted to see if you guys could give me some advice on the subject before i fill it.

I personally don't know if this medication is habit forming drug then my answer would be NO. But that is just me, I take anti d's but they are not habit forming either I don't catch a buzz off of them however people can stand me a little bit better. I am not a doctor although at one time I was

Love Vic

I just did a research on Narcotics (Opiates) and Methadone is highly addictive, but it's the best thing to do if you are withdrawing from Heroin. The withdrawals from Methadone will be less intense, so what it's meant to do is progressively get you out of the Opiates. I would do as your Dr. says, if he's a trustworthy Dr.

Do you have any references?

Hope it helps.
