I was just wondering if any of you kind of felt bored at the beginning when you were recovering. I guess I used to look forward to drinking. I have 2 young kids that keep me very busy because we go all over the place but still feel bored and blah. My husband is on overtime and working midnights. When he is done I will treat myself to din din, go to Chapters, do more cooking and start running. That should shake those bored and empty feelings. Have any of you experienced this?

Yeah definately. You have to remember that your body is changing in a big way and getting useed to a whole new way of functioning so it'll take a while for it to settle in. The bored feeling doesn't last forever though - you've just got to keep hanging in there, remembering that each day you are osber the quicker you are to feeling back to normal - better than normal!!!

Just hang in Joanne - I know it's tough but you're doing the right thing by posting, you'll gain so much from hearing about other people's experiences.
