Why does my body hurt?

Is it just my imagination or does your body (skin, muscles) actually hurt after a night binge? My body feels bruised. I am going to be asking alot of questions and venting alot. I hope that is o.k.

Aches are a part of alcohol de tox.
They will ease in a few days.

Drink a lot of water..aspirin will help as will
warm showers.

Relax..your body is cleaning out the toxins.

It must be like poison. Joanne
It kills someone every minute!

Hot baths are great and I liked relaxing teas like Tension Tamer with Peppermint. Chamomile with St John's Wart is another good one.

Hi Joanne,

I remember it well, my body used to ache so badly I could barely move, I would lay on my couch all day and wait for the pain to end. Its alocohol poisoning.

I haven't felt like that in 11 1/2 months, thanks to AA, a fabulous therapist and a belief in something greater that myself, and some very cool women.

Warm baths, cammomile and/or pepermint tea, lots of water, light food (toast, soup) I wouldn't recommend any pain killers, your liver is under major stress right now, arnica (homepathic remedy for trauma if your are familiar with it)

Hope you feel better soon, and you never have to feel like this again, just don't pick up a drink.

Love, Rose
