Hi Hopeful,

I'm glad you found us.

I'm an alcoholic so don't know much about drugs, but from what I've read here it might take awhile. Of course, it depends on how much you used and what it was. But, if you hang in there, you will start to feel better soon.

Hello hopeful,
when will i be better?
The answer is that every minute/hour/day that you don't use, you will get better!! Three days is an excellent start!! I am so glad you are on this path!

Stick around... well done on 3 days.

The body will start healing as long as you don't pick up.

It will take time and it won't happen overnight but stay clean one day at a time, and you will feel yourself getting better.

Welcome, glad you are here! CMC is right, the healing begins (even if it doesn't feel like it just yet) as soon as you stop using.

Are you going through physical withdrawals? Different substances leave the system at different times, and also depends on how much you were using.

But it really and truly does get better every day.
