Excuse me, need to do happy dance!

today i have to pause in celebration and gratitude to mark what i've done to change my life during the past 30 days.

0 alcoholic drinks (thank God)
1 church visit
2 psychiatrist visits
6 books on alcoholism read
7 AA meetings attended
10 pounds lost
and innumerable visits to this blessed website!

my journey has just begun but i am incredibly humbled that i have made it this far--carried by my hp and my new friends from AA and SR and, without a doubt, my love for my family.

Thanks all! I feel kinda proud...it's silly but i do.

But i also know that i have a LOT of work to do...daunting...tonight's meeting was all about denial and how we alcoholics create our own reality...yikes. that hit home. lots of reality staring at me in the face....

anyhow, couldn't have done it without all of you!
