Manual labor and sobriety
I did a little manual labor today. Manual for me anyway. My Wife and I run our business out of our house. It's a business that creates a lot of paper files. Today we took fifty or so 20 to 30 lb. bankers boxes, three years worth of old work, carried them from the basement to the driveway, and chucked the files over the top and in to a huge dumpster we have here for a remodeling project. We also broke down all the boxes and chucked those in. It's about 86 degrees.
I'm thinking this might have been a bit unpleasant with a head splitting, gut wrenching hangover. As it turned out, we enjoyed the workout, and made fun of how out of shape each of us are. Not a bad morning all in all.
And now, on my 30th sober day, I will, with somewhat sore muscles but a clear head, watch Tiger Woods run away from the field in yet another major championship.
While laying on the couch. LOL.
Be well everyone. I'm starting to think this staying sober thing might be all it's cracked up to be.
