Things I have learned in 7 days...

Either turn off the electric fence or stay focused when filling the water tanks, because that really, really stung. But I didn't have to take a pill for it.

My dog has a severe flatulence problem that needs to be addressed. When I mentioned it to my darling, he said she's been that way for months. I said "Where have I been?" and he just looked at me. Oh. right. And I was able to laugh and not get defensive.

I can not yet sit through "Emperors New Groove" with the grandkids, but I can actually go outside and play ball, instead of sitting on the deck with a "lemonade" and just watching.

And finally in the "note to self" department; pay attention to labels when making purchases. I'm not a fan of artificial sweeteners, so I ran in to the health food store to get a box of stevia packets. Yesterday, the dog and I were in the same boat but then I suddenly had terrible abdominal cramps and well...you know. I thought I was past that crap (no pun intended). The only really new thing I was eating was the stevia so I read the box and I had bought the variety that has that quick dissolving fiber in it. But this too shall pass. (intended

Thanks to each of you for all you do! Stay the course.

You make me laugh.

Like Kurt Vonnegut said, "We're all here on this earth to fart around. And don't let anybody tell you any different."

LOL, Hobby Horse! I'm so glad you're at Day 7, reaping some benefits and maintaining your sense of humour. I think the sense of humour thing is SO important.

Best to you,
Candy Scratch
