Tank u Dee.
Unseasonably warm. The temp today near 86F, 30C. 2 months early...mind, with hurricanes, floods, wildfires, melting icey bits....unseasonable weather is normal, it seems.
Donated a little money to Morocco and Libya.
Prayers to any on US coast with hurricane bearing down.
Watched a very interesting doco about iconic ships. 2 int'g facts, on the Titanic, 1st class passengers were provided with grape cutting scissors.
And, in WW2, the Queen Mary on route across the Atlantic from the US to Britain with over 10,000 troops on board, in a very bad storm was hit by a rogue wave 100feet high. The QM listed over o nearly 50 degrees...scant inches from sinking.
Starting new routine...introduced art, more meetings, more activities for Rox and the jim. Adding new stuff, like more worta, less coffee, not snacking on crackers/yoghurt with sugar, journal, garden..etc. One new thing at a time...

Thanks Dee, and Hi to everyone!!

90 seems significant. I guess each iteration is ….

Our visit with our son and family couldn’t be any better. Truly grateful for these days.

Glad you are having such a nice time MITA

Hoping to start settling in to the new place this week….today marks a month since I left my job to move here. For some reason it feels like much longer…..not that I’m in any hurry to go back to work!

Hey guys! Checking in and saying hi. I got myself a nasty cold right now but the silver lining is the only thing I want to drink is cough medicine every 4 hours hubby is out of town so normally the AV would be going nuts but I guess she isn’t feeling very good either. I hope everyone is doing well. I’m gonna go catch up on this thread.

Challenging day 1...psychosession. I grow when stuff gets hard.
I'd rather by in a peaceful state, dream cottage by the sea, enough dosh to be comfortable doing arty stuff...and dogs, chooks, an alpaca. a raven or 2 and a pet whale.

except I am doing hard things, then I went home.

I still want a pet whale.
A blue whale.

W/end nearly over. Battled migraine/back spasms...so apart from meds/rest- once pain bearable- I have been decluttering. BR2 is a dumping area...donate 3 bags of clothes to charity, and there's my bike. 5yo, good as new, keep in br2. It cost about 340. A local bike shop charges nearly 200 (plus parts) for a service. Going to look around.
Bought a new m/wave, electric fry pan...old ones were not in good condition- bad for health.
After month of messaging/waiting I get to see my 8m grandson for the 2nd time. Hard work. I think my son keeps me at a distance, because of my drinking. Sad, but gettting there slowly.

We struck gold at a native plant sale a few days ago…

Pretty sore all over from yesterday….did some gardening at the new house and ended up working for 6 hours planting new bulbs and plants….now I want to go continue shopping

Decluttering and keeping yourself busy is good PJ ….

Hope you can see your family soon (and more often!)

Startin’ fluid, then over to feed and check on BratCat….hoping I can begin moving in over there so I don’t have to keep going back and forth, but trying to remain patient. Mindful crap!

Just checking in to say Hi

Purps, I hope all the moving in stuff is going okay.

PJ, grandkids are awesome ... enjoy.

Things pretty good here. I've been a little lackadaisical about my exercise and eating habits, but it's been so crazy hot this summer that it's limited my ability to be active outdoors. That's changing now ... hopefully my motivation returns
