Ah, Toots - I see we crossed this morning! Yes, to continue the theme…. My ex drank a lot and smoked weed constantly. He also tried other drugs like lsd. And now he is in a facility with dementia. I can’t say if there’s a connection but I doubt all the body pollution helped. It seems to me that it’s sad that when we are young we feel immortal and later, when the effects of our youthful excesses and indiscretions hit, it can be too late. Sad. I feel fortunate to have escaped with my body and brain still workable.

Sassy, it is astounding how many people are on multiple meds these days. Since I lost all that weight the past couple of years, I thought that I could talk my doctor into taking me off my blood pressure meds. His response was "they seem to be working, so I'm going to keep you on them for now." At least I was able to lower my cholesterol enough to keep off any additional meds.

Have a Super Sunday, overs!

Saskia, glad you are able to cut the meds. So many supplements are not regulated too, so cutting down on those.

I take Omega, B comp,ex, folate. Cutting out Biotin.

Lots of love

Free, yes, I have cut down on supplements, too. I’ve noticed in recent years that the amount in one vitamin pill (of various types) is much higher than some years ago. More is not always better!

Have a Mindful Monday, friends

Good Morning Overs

FBL, wise of you to ask the doc about your bp meds and not just come off them. A distant relative of Mr. Mag’s stopped taking her bp meds, said she was feeling fine. She did this for two years then had a stroke which left her unable to walk sadly.

Mr. Mags has got up early, it’s most unusual. He’s put my routine out. Not really a routine but a coffee and read of SR in a morning.

Have a good day my friends. xxxx

Mags, yes - changing med dosage without input from doc isn’t usually a good idea, especially blood pressure meds.

I’m starting to feel a bit better on revised meds. Now to catch up on all those things I haven’t gotten done in the past weeks :-)

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Overs

Mags, working on a “Boho Blooms” collage. It’s very different and large. I’m taking a break for the moment.

Have a Happy Hump Day to all

Hey Sassy love, I was just thinking about you.

I logged out and back into SR and got some of the old features back. The font is back to normal, and the quick links drop-down menu works again, as does clicking on someone's name and getting options to read more of their posts or send a PM, etc.

Just wanted to share. ❤️

Sassy, we got an all day rain and a lot of it. We have not had a measurable snow yet...sshh! Best winter ever.

Time for everyone to focus on the present moment and have a great day all!

We finally got a little snow yesterday. About an inch or two. Just enough to mess up the roads a bit.

Have a Thoughtful Thursday, overs!

Good Afternoon Overs

We've had a mild day so far. Lots of birds looking for food.

Had a day at home, catching up a few chores. Nice to not have to dash about.

Have a good day my friends xxxx

Continuing the weather report, woke up to a very frosty start, first for about a week. Unusually it's been much colder down south in England than it has up here in Scotland. It makes a change!

We are hoping to sell the two flats that we rent out, we have a potential buyer and just need to get home reports done on them both today. I don't normally ask for positive thoughts for money things, but in this case, the one flat has been such a stresser it has been affecting me. We will barely make enough to cover the mortgages but it will be worth it to be rid. So about 3:30 GMT I need all the positivity y'all can muster!!
