Day 17, feeling more positive, less anxious. I’ve been journaling and thinking about the life I want. Still feeling exhausted and eating more than usual.

Thank you, Dee 😊

Time is flying by! Congratulations on 100 days, Bobbie! That’s amazing!!

Today was a good day, as most of my days are nice when I’m sober. After a full day I finally had time to relax, and it dawned on me, 50 days isn’t that far away 😬 I still have a week to go, but it’s pretty wild I’ve come this far at day 42. I was a sad sad human.

Now, I have so much energy! I’m still charged up, and it’s almost 10pm here. Hopefully I can get some good rest.

………just as I hit submit, I received a “drunk text” so I had to edit my post. I dated this particular individual briefly, but stopped due to his excessive drinking. I was a heavy drinker, but he would demolish vodka by the gallons. Disgusting to think about. I can guarantee I’ll get the “I’m sorry I was drunk” text tomorrow morning. Again, grateful for sobriety ✌🏻

Goodnight

Pledging for today. Day 108. Plugging along through life’s journey. While not perfect I am truly blessed and fortunate to be experiencing it sober, honest and with a sincere effort to do the next right thing. It is all possible if I put sobriety first and all else secondary. Best to all on your journey.

Takeaction very happy you are experiencing the serenity of sobriety. I too cringe at the thought of the sad human I was becoming. It did take a huge effort and many tries but this last 3 plus months have been more peaceful than I have felt in 20 plus years. Admitting and fully embracing my alcoholism, even if just to myself and here anonymously, has been crucial to continuing sobriety. Accepting who I am and my condition has made it easier to do the next right thing no matter what that is.

Starting Day 4. Feeling much better physically and mentally. Had thoughts of drinking after work yesterday, but did my best to ignore it and press on with my plan and never thought about again. Good thoughts going out to all—stay the course; trust the process

I had an issue trying to get into sr this morning.
I got a McAfee account for my phone last nite.
When I tried to log in,
It says " my ip address is banned by sr".

Anywho I got in in a roundabout way.
I pledge another alcohol free day!
