***** Scot and welcome to the club. We are a mostly boring group trying to deal with life on life's terms and sometimes doing better than other times.
I went for a walk this morning, long for me, I took my friend's dog which made it slightly more interesting. So I continue my Old Year Resolution of getting in shape.
Also I have been working my way through an audiobook on Margaret Douglas who was King Henry VIII niece. The intrigues, politics and struggles seem just like they are now. They all kept falling in love with the wrong people and throwing each other in the tower. Interesting stuff.

Good Morning Overs
Congratulations on 1 year Scott! and welcome to the Overs
Got my new curtains delivered yesterday. There’s apprehension, but hopefully it’ll work out in the end. The living room window is massive (in my mind anyway) and I could only get made to measure for them.
Reading the description it said over a certain width there would be a ‘join’ seam in the curtains. That got my little grey cells thinking 🤔 .
So I checked the ready made ones (fortunately they had the exact same colour/pattern) and they were much cheaper. So I bought 2 pairs of ready made curtains, and going to get a lady in the village to sew two curtains together, twice, to make 1 pair of curtains. Fingers crossed it will work out. The pattern is random so I think it will. And I saved some£ ‘s too.
Have a good day my friends xxxx

I loved that movie! We’re heading to my daughters today. She at college about 4 hours away. We cooked our thanksgiving diner yesterday and will pack it up and bring it with us. It works pretty good to reheat it. My wife and I have two children both just turned 21. It should be a fun trip. It’s nice to get all of us together. The kids are funny though. Both adults but turn back to kids when they’re together. Bickering and the whole works. Have a great day everyone and thanks for all the welcomes.
Welcome to the Overs, Scott and congrats on your soberversary There is something almost magical about reaching this milestone. It’s long enough to be past the worst of the misery and darkest of days, yet short enough to be a time full of hope and looking forward to the many ways our lives can improve.
it’s cold and beautiful sunny day here on the Maine coast and definitely time for me to get moving!
Have a happy hump day

Good Morning Overs
Scott, you gave me a chuckle about when your daughters get together. It used to be the same with my father-in-law and his sister. They would squabble like a couple of kids and they were in their 70’s and 80’s.
Come to think of it, I think I’m like it when I see my brothers!
Have a great Thanksgiving with your family.
Sassy, it’s that day to be off to Andy’s on your broomstick, I can smell bread baking. Save some for me!

One of Fran's nurses saw her yesterday morning and said she needed to be in the hospital, so her daughter got her checked in last night. May be another infection of some kind.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, overs!

Good morning, Overs and Happy Thanksgiving to those on this side of the pond!
FBL, sorry to hear Fran needs to go to the hospital. So I gather she’s not on hospice?
Mags, ah - my flying broom is rusty (or rather dusty) but I will clean it up for another trip to Andy’s for coffee.
Have a terrific Thursday to all

Happy Thanksgiving! Mags, I have a son and daughter. It sounded confusing when I said we were going to my daughters city. Punctuation matters lol. My brother and I don’t bicker but we do go right into our comedy routines. Best wishes to Fran FBL.

Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes Toots and Mags. And may all my fellow Americans have a lovely day with family and friends.
Today I'm hoping for some exercise, a visit to Dad and help out with the dinner.
