Day 13 for me too.
Thankful for the new month. Put October's failures behind me.
Going on an insane diet amd exercise plan. Gotta get skinny. And Skinny boys don't drink alcohol. 8 weeks to Christmas, I want to get back to my starving drug addict weight by then.

Count me in! I'm on Day 11
I had an appointment with my psychologist yesterday. I had 12 sessions with her back in 2019 when she helped me get sober the first time. We had really connected, so this appointment was like a reunion and time to catch up. She asked how she can best help or support me and I didn't have an answer. I'm not sure what I expect of a psychologist, besides someone to talk to.
Nice to see a lot of the October folks here and some new ones as well. Looking forward to a sober November. We can do this!

She sounds wonderful, Magnum.
I wonder if she is asking you to say that you want her help to build a healthy, sober life; sometimes, those kinds of action statements can be powerful. ❤️

Hello to the new Class members and Hi all to the regulars
Life is in session and looking at the calendar I see I have 67 days sober apparently. My life sessions are a bit wonky it looks...LOL. It's fun being me . Anywho doing eBicycle repair is challenging. Almost not enough physical strength to change the rear tire. Then another problem pops-up. Good I'll be a bicycle repair expert then Ha!. My small laptop take a dive today, on the old desktop now. Have my phone to get here as well. Still connected to my support group and I'm very grateful for that.
I'll be buzzing around SR for a while, Finnish projects got on to today, and make dinner.

Two weeks sober today. My psychiatrist doubled my ativan for some reason. I didn't have an appt or anything, I just found out when I got my meds. Might be related to the "incident" in the ER two weeks ago. I told him when I was getting my shot I had to escape the ER because I didn't feel safe. But I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Ativan yay. Although I was thinking of quitting it lol.
Going to start couch to 5k today, read some of the big book, send off my application for the civil service clerical officer competition, pray and meditate. Maybe do some cleaning and laundry. Probably cook dinner.

I just realized we have 3 cats in the house. Zencat, Venuscat and Magnumcat.
"Sobriety is like pizza When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's still pretty damn good”.Day 24.
Have a great one, people! and cats!

We're going to need a bigger litter box
Morning here on the west coast US. Check-in time. Tired from being active every day. Today is a rest day. Chill out maybe pick a small project to do and take my time doing it. Sobriety haves afforded me some energy and focus I did not have drinking/street drug taking. Another thing to be grateful for is the rewards of recovery just keep piling on

Therapy was very good for me. We uncovered a lot of my pent-up emotions that were destructive. You have to feel it to heal it.
