Day 92? Woo-hoo Zencat! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi to everyone! So good to hear from Sam, Bobbi and Runner.
we lost power at ten last evening. But got it back at eleven. So nice to have neighbors to take our turkey so that it didn’t spoil!! I thought that it was going to be a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving..!

Feeling hopeful!!

Up and getting it together for the Turkey Day Festivities here in the wacky ole US. Consider donating some cash to an indigenous people's fund, No so much a happy day for them if you know what I mean. Have all my sober strategies and plans in place for a sane and safe weekend.

Namaste and gratitude to everyone here and around SR for helping me stay sober today.

Well I just spend a half hour working on a post and had a glitch with my laptop and lost it and I even copied and pasted it to a draft email when I thought my laptop was doing something wonky. 😪 I’ll just have to redo it. But not tonight lol

hope everyone had a great day.

Frustrating, Jojo. Sorry that happened.

My husband decided to drink tonight. But I did not!! Thank gosh. Feels good going to sleep and knowing that I’ll have a clear mind tomorrow!!
Have a lovely evening everyone.

Happy thanksgiving! Just wanted to pop by and say hi. I am reading here every day and am rooting for each and every one of you. SO proud of what you all achieve! I'm not quite there yet, but I will be coming back. We are opening the café in just over two weeks and things are so hectic and stressful, but I am actually enjoying it, liking the hard work. Bodes well for me, considering this will be my life from now on.

Hope you are having a nice day, wherever you are.

Good morning,

Woke up feeling better with less anxiety. Day 3 for me. Sitting in my bed having my coffee pondering my path forward. Positive thoughts so far.

I’m back and checking in for another day 1. I had a horrible 6-7 day bender. Feel like sh*t today. Gave in to stress at work and stupidly told myself I could just have 1. At this point, I know I can’t have just 1. That one beer turned in to a full out bender.

I have tried AA online meetings and Smart Recovery online. I may try in person AA meeting today and will start back up on anxiety meds (to hopefully alleviate withdrawals and get my mind in better place). I’ve seen all your posts about Naltrexone and may reach out to my doctor to give it a try.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their successes (and failures). Congrats to everyone hitting milestones. It’s inspiring

I think you might enjoy face-to-face AA, BD. Why not give it a try? s

I had the day off so I decided to hit up a noon meeting. It was definitely nice to hear everyone share with the group though it was a little nerve racking when It was my turn to share. However, overall a good experience. Another meeting tomorrow I may go to

That is awesome. And remember, sharing is optional. Sometimes, it feels good just to say hello, and identify.
