Accountability time: Doing fairly well with situations at present, some are not being addressed because Mr. A is so darn busy with work, but at least he is back in town which makes it better and I just love having him around. Keeping busy is key for me to maintain my sobriety and to help to keep me out of the dark holes I keep falling into. Lately it seems like I keep falling in those holes which really stinks and it takes a boatload of energy to try to engage in hobbies. I just have to keep moving forward with my sobriety. It's the only way.

Also we just had the recent full moon and lunar eclipse….I read that causes a major transformation/energy shift and our emotions can be all over the place, since I’m having a hard time with keeping energized as well. Maybe that’s a part of it?

I like the list of 3 things too…

Accountability: Plugging along with my sobriety which is far better than the alternative. There sure have been many ups and downs lately( seems like more downs) that have challenged my path but I continued on knowing there is only one path for me which I need to stick to. When I think back on my past, absolutely nothing positive came from drinking. I just wish I knew that then and stopped sooner, but I can't change the past no matter how hard I try. Onwards to a brighter future.
Toolbox: read about success stories

Accountability: There have been so many big challenges lately which have knocked me pretty far down where I did not see an end in sight but still maintained my sobriety. I really wanted to just disappear and thought about the poison which would make me forget about all the bad poop going on around me. I know that the poison is no way to live my life as bad as it gets, it just makes me go further down the dark hole and makes me feel even worse then I do if that is even possible. Alcohol=horrible life existence
Toolbox: read inspiring quotes
Keep fighting

From a hike we did several years ago. So dang beautiful. Drinking would prohibit these experiences

Accountability: I am the queen of worry which obviously can increase anxiety, stress, and depression. Drinking at times was used as an escape which was not the correct path to take because it did help one bit, and only made things worse and made it so I would not be able to manage what was happening around me. Drinking causes anxiety and depression so I was just compounding issues...(shakes my head) I would rather deal with issues with a clear head and try to deal with my worries in a productive way.

I think you're doing really well, considering the circumstances.

Accountability: Doing well on my path despite the speed bumps and today I have that strange feeling..not sure if others have had it..the feeling that physically my body wants a drink..hard to explain the sensation..But no way am I going to answer that call. . Keeping busy and refocused with my sewing and exercising ( as long as my hip behaves) Getting kind of tired of my living situation, burning me out a bit and does not allow Mr. A and I to have very much time just together. Sigh. It is always with his Mom too. Hopefully by the spring we will be in the house we are buying.
Toolbox: Keep busy
Gratitude
