That’s lovely PJ and such an awesome quote Abcowboy. I feel such a proud mama right now. My eldest daughter finished her GCSEs this week and last night she went to her prom. She’s 16 and never wears make up, slouches around the house in shorts and T shirts with her hair piled up on top of her head - so when she came downstairs yesterday, dressed in her prom dress - I cried!! She looked so grown up and beautiful and assured and excited about life and I was so incredibly proud of who she is, I couldn’t stop crying. It doesn’t seem that long ago I brought her back from the hospital as a newborn and my husband and I looked at each other and said, ‘what do we do? What on earth do we do?’ But somehow 16 years have passed by in a blink of an eye and it’s sad being reminded that I’m only caretaking this wonderful people for a relatively short time. it’s an honour sharing every single day with my children and I will never stop feeling grateful. And humbled. And proud. I think I might start crying again. I’m v emotional at the moment but it’s all good. Life is happening as it should. Love to everyone and 24 more for me please xxx
