This is what happens when you take the same route every Sunday morning a photo of barley from soil prep to growth over the past few months, i will miss a few weeks in July but it will be a nice change of colour in the field.

Well i asked and i got it its, a beautiful day and my mood is the same. There is a definite correlation between the sun and my mood in general i can't explain it but it just feels good. Got my walk in, putting on washes, i live an obsessed country who wash everything in the house if you can dry it outside. Clean the car and get it ready for the holidays in 2 weeks and go to recycling centre yes an active day off in the sun.

A good day is when you wake up with a clear head no guilt no pain and the only disappointment is having to get up for work when you'd rather stay at home and do a few bits around the house. Its a good day.

I love where I live but I tell ya, I'm a little jealous of you. Surrounded by 2 of my favorite things, water and farms. Hillsides and the trails are bonuses.
Thanks for keeping the pics coming.
I'm in a rental near a small city right now and all I see is houses and all I here is traffic and sirens. Not my kind of place at all.

Im desperate FK i really dont utilise the water like when i was young, swimming and fishing all summer. Now i do neither busy with family and not to bothered to make the time, but i do for walking. I feel guilty if im not doing something around the house. My wife dose swim every morning most of the year. Just too dark during the winter. Its is a lovely place i live and i appreciate it even more so now.

Watched the fog rolling in this morning and for whatever reason brainfog came to mind. There are distinct episodes when people would ask me questions about the previous day and i was unable to answer them as i was completely blank. Scary and i dont miss them. I dont miss the night/morning sweats either the feeling of a rush of blood to the head and the whole body starts to perspire. Yuck
On that happy note 😬 i hope you all enjoy the day.

Thanks Tursiops
Weather has taken a turn for the worse today. Wind and rain forcast and they were spot on. I feel sorry for the tourists.
Listening to lots of new and old podcast on the subject of sobriety lately. I think its just a security i need in myself before heading abroad. Not long to wait. Thankfully its not this Saturday the ferry crossing will be rough this weekend 🙃.

Very late walk and check in, its an awful June night. Even the seagull stayed still for a photo and pretended to have a broken wing it then flew away. It was so miserable outside but i still went out and it felt good afterwards all being as wet as i was when i got back. Hope you all have great weekend.

Enjoyed the lie-in this morning 7.30am twas like the middle of the day. Took off on my route busier than usual on the road so lesson learned i will get back to the earlier start.
One week before holidays so im now in the not wanting to do anything only get ready mood. Its going to be my first official summer holiday abroad 😎 sober no booze, i know i did last summer but different when its at home.
I've prepared my temptation response and the tools i might need as it is France and there is rosè everywhere, my favourite was Bergerac so if there was an AF version i might have one, also spending a week in the Bordeaux area wine country😬. So plenty of hiking, Swimming, and canoeing in the Dordogne planned.
Anyway heres some photos of this morning.

Lovely. Your upcoming trip sounds fantastic, and you'll enjoy it so much more without being tethered to a bottle.
