Class of May 2020 part 18
Nice and cool. 50F, 10C this morning, will be up to about 85F, 29C this afternoon and as daytime highs for about a week.
The sun and heat will be quite welcomed by the farmers. This is good crop ripening weather.
I’d prefer it about 5 degrees cooler, but am working inside an air conditioned building, so can’t complain much.
I have screenshots of several pages that have simple truths on them about alcohol and how it relates to my life, how it’s use has affected me (us). It is good to read this stuff regularly, to stay cognizant, or reminded, of the cautions I must take in life regarding alcohol.
Be well sober travellers!!

Sorry I've been AWOL, everything has been good. My Godson is enrolled at school and started attending this week and has been doing well considering. We have him seeing a counselor and a doctor and he seems to be in a good place overall. Keeping busy with his part time job and school should do him a world of good. Two of my kids are off at college and one is in boot camp at the moment (for the national guard)
I like to save stuff like that too TC. I like to save it in a cloud drive so I can pull it up on my phone whereever as a reminder.
I hope everything is going ok with the apartment WL. Happy belated birthday (by a few weeks I think)!

I have been around and have not posted in this thread, but I am doing well, too! I was feeling guilty about the thread being dormant the other day and was going to post if nobody else did. Thanks NMD!!
Hi gang, looks like we've dwindled down. I see WL and TC are active but maybe went on to later sober date classes. Feel free to pop in, it would be good to here from everyone.
My weekends have been surprisingly busy despite the kids being away. Our Godson is taking driving classes once a week and both of my kids in college have come home for a weekend for "fall break" which has been nice. The next two weekends are parents weekends so we'll visit for a day. One school is 1hour away and the other is a 2hr drive.
My garden is done and ive processed a bunch of tomatos and hot peppers in sauce. Only one big pumpkin this year, I'm still deciding how to carve it.
Hope.everyone is well.

Wishing you well TC, messages are always open. I check on SR infrequently, recently more the main forum. I'm happy to see our group still working on sobriety though. It took me way too long (years) and many day 1s/sober classes to make it stick
