Things are the same ....Nothing has changed. I'm learning to walk away and it helps. And when I walk away I do so with a smile.
Don't mean to be a downer...Feel better just putting on here and getting it out of my system.

Babs not a downer at all to know that you've found a positive tool for dealing. Remember, as far as 'the games people play' you're taking away his 'reward' by not reacting the way he wants you to. Over time that does alter his behaviour.

Hi there PJ !
Well, doing pretty good. We got another offer on our house and the pressure is on. Hubby is pretty persistent that
we sell. Not sure if I'm ready but, I do know he can't do the work around here and I can't do it all myself. I know we could hire it done but, house needs to be updated also. anywhooo------decisions decisions......

I'm fine Babs, just back from Spain and off to see my mum next week for a few days. And trying to squeeze some packing in in between!

Sending gratitude into the universe is never a bad thing Peej, and perhaps it leads to more positivity in your life. Just think, if you hadn't been so positive about working at your recovery, physically, mentally and addiction-wise, you may never have been in the right emotional state for your sons to want to reinstate relations. It is your hard work that has brought you to this place sweetheart, and having your sons back is a just reward for it

I don't imagine for a moment you would take any of it for granted Peej, there are few who have as much reason for gratitude, and who have as great an appreciation of their second chance. You are one of the lucky ones, and you will never forget it I know.
