I’m here on day number 2. Looking forward to another day of sobriety. I’m feeling hopeful and have my day planned without too much down time. I hope everyone has a really good day and knows that they are not alone.

Good job on coming right back Triggered! I've heard that same thing from a lot of people, their partner's were afraid of loosing out on a social life if one quit drinking. My wife was afraid to go out with me toward the end because of how I might embarrass her from drinking too much! My drinking was the reason for a poor social life!

Oh ya, and thanks for the new chapter Dee!

Jack was talking about his recovery plan, and I am sitting here thinking about my own, or at least a major part of it.

Every single morning, rain or hail, snow or sleet, sad times or good times, I get out of bed, do a few morning things, make my coffee, and come here.
Bruce gets here before me and I always look forward to seeing what amazing quote he has found for us. I read the thread and catch up, and then I search for an image.

If I find a good one, it is super-exciting, still, every day, and then I play with it. And of course if there is no image that is any good, I make one.

After that, I check my other SR threads, read, post a bit, and think about the inspiring, kind, funny, caring words I have just read. Inevitably I have tears in my eyes.
And I am always grateful for being part of this incredible community.
