Venus, my house in CO is brick so in the summer it really heats up and maintains the heat. We call it a pizza brick oven.

Hello everyone. Sorry but I have not posted in a while but wanted to give you an update. I was 4 years sober on 4th January! I am still an active member of AA, I am in Sri Lanka for 4 months touring around the island. I know only too well I would not be here if I was not sober. I used this site so much in the early weeks (when I could hardly leave the house), and I will always be grateful. I am loving it here, people are so friendly and its is beautiful, and I got away from the British winter, so all is good. This is a dream come true and only sobriety could have got this. For those new to this please hang in there, it is so worth it. I am now a member of AA Sri Lanka! I have met some lovely people (still mainly Zoom meetings) and although our cultures and countries are miles apart the gift of sobriety is the same. I have read the list on here of those pledging 24 hours and its great to see the same names there were here before. Onwards and upwards. Love and blessings. Juliet Sri Lanka & UK. xxx

Friday Night Live on the Porch was tonight. Tomorrow Ken and the Band have a Gig, first he’s had since NYE. Ken got Covid from the NYE gig, I pray this isn’t a pattern, counting on my HP 🌌💙.
