24 more here please, bit haphazard checking in due to lazy Christmas and odd sleeping pattern but very much here and grateful to be sober.. Not so much looking forward to work tomorrow morning, 6 hours sleep isn’t very appealing but I’ve gained enough in the last few days that it shouldn’t be too much of a problem 😂

💦 💦 💦

It was a light to medium rainy day today. By listening to the weather reports I thought we were going to get some REAL RAIN …. Oh well … it’s ALL needed here in California. 😁😁

Since the Omicron variant is spreading & surging here, I had to really rethink me attending my Home Group’s Annual New Years Marathon (our 1st in person on since 2019 too)

I have decided not to attend. I am not comfortable taking the risk. Though I’m vaccinated & got my Booster. It is a 3 day Marathon (inside) a room that would not allow for social distancing. As a Committee Member, I am required to be there for the 3 days.

I’ve been working on my commitment and so I passed my box of stuff to my Sponsor. She’s decided to attend. I’m disappointed that the Committee I’m on had previously decided not to also do the Marathon on Zoom. Guess who voted “Yes, Please ?” The votes were for No Zoom. 😔

Well, another It IS what it IS life moment for me. 🌌🙏🏼 I’ll look around Zoom and see what is available, always a meeting somewhere, right?❣️
